And souls are stretched by the pull of opposites — opposite points, tastes, yearnings, loyalties. Where there is no polarity, where energies flow smoothly in one direction, there will be much doing but no music, much noise but no music.
The music is created by the meeting of silence and sound,
the music is created by the polar opposites.
E' un'anima espansa quella che puo' fare musica.
E le anime vengono espanse, stirate, dalla trazione esercitata dagli opposti: punti, gusti, desideri, lealta' opposte. Dove non esistono polarita', dove le energie fluiscono senza problemi in una sola direzione, si faranno molte cose, ma non musica, si fara' molto rumore, ma non musica.
La musica e' creata dall'incontro del suono e del silenzio,
la musica e' creata dagli opposti.
